AWO's Rose Essential Oil, otherwise known as Rose Otto Essential Oil or Damask Rose Essential Oil, is harvested by hand from the 'Valley of Roses' in Bulgaria and is distilled from the flowering tops of the Rosa damascena plant.
With its sweet, floral aroma that is romantic and timeless, Rose Essential Oil is a highly sought-after oil due to its outstanding properties and is known to be one of the most precious essential oils in the world. Due to its delicate flowers, and low oil yield, it takes around 4-5 tonnes of rose petals to produce 1L of pure rose essential oil... that means just a single drop of oil takes about 50-80 roses!
Rose Otto Oil is well valued for its anti-depressant, sedative, comforting and balancing properties, as well as its ability to help relieve stress, menopausal symptoms and menstrual discomfort. It’s also thought to reduce pain, migraines, enhance blood circulation, sharpen memory and enhance libido - plus it has also proven helpful in aiding a restful nights sleep.
