JOJOBA BUTTER

Jojoba (pronounced ho-ho-ba) forms the basis of this rich and creamy body butter best known for its skin nourishing properties.

Derived from 100% cold-pressed Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis), which consists of linear esters and acts differently to other oils, this stable butter retains the plant’s natural properties and nutrients: an abundance of essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and proteins that support healthy skin. With a composition similar to human sebum, Jojoba Butter makes an effective natural emollient, spreading easily and readily penetrating theto soothe or repair the skin without leaving a greasy film. The same properties are said to work just as effectively in hair care, too.

With high stability and a smooth consistency, Jojoba Butter can be used on its own, mixed with essential oils, or used as an ingredient in personal care products such as lip balms, massage butters, skin creams, lotions and more.

  • Jojoba is known for being similar in composition to the skin's sebum, balancing oil production while sealing in moisture by creating a protective film for the skin and hair.
  • Rich in antioxidants like vitamin E and phenolic compounds, Jojoba Butter helps fight free radicals, reducing premature signs of aging.
  • Anti-inflammatory properties in Jojoba Butter work hard to support irritated skin, soothing redness, dry patches and breakouts.
  • Rich in essential fatty acids, Jojoba Butter helps the skin retain water and stay hydrated.
  • Excellent emollient properties in Jojoba Butter help it penetrate quickly and deeply into the skin, leaving it feeling smooth and supple.
  • In hair care, Jojoba Butter repairs damaged or dry hair, promotes growth and hydrates the scalp.
