Whether combined to make your own personalized essential oil blend or enjoyed individually, these essential oils are sure to relax and calm the mind, whilst alleviating feelings of stress and tension.
Whilst there are many ways to use essential oils, here we have listed a few of our favourite:
Massage: Have a loved one treat you to a soothing and relaxing massage. Simply dilute 6-10 drops of your preferred Essential Oil into 100ml of your favourite Carrier Oil or Base Massage Oil and apply to affected areas.
Diffuser or Vaporiser: Stop & revive this Mother’s Day by adding 2-10 Drops of Essential Oil to your aromatherapy Diffuser or Vaporiser. You can also combine a few oils together to create your own personal essential oil blend.
Room Spray: Combine 2 Tbsp of Vodka with 10-40 drops of Essential Oil into a spray bottle and shake well. Top up with 3/4 Cup Water and mist the air throughout your home.
Perfume: Create your own personal perfume blend by mixing 5-10 drops of Essential Oil to a 10ml roller bottle and top with Fractionated Coconut Oil.
Essential Oil Safety
- In line with the Therapeutic Goods Act, we do not recommend ingesting essential oils without the guidance of a registered Aromatherapist or Naturopath. Essential Oils are extremely potent and can cause serious harm if used incorrectly.
- Essential oils should be kept out of reach of children and pets.
- Avoid using Essential Oils during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding.
- Essential Oils are very concentrated and are likely to cause irritation if applied directly to the skin. For this reason, we recommend diluting your essential oils before using topically (on the skin). For skin application we recommend a 2-4% dilution and for facial application we recommend a 1-2% dilution.
