It's no secret that coffee is one of the worlds favourite things to drink because of its energising and mood boosting effects, and lets not forget its oh-so-delicious aroma, but did you know that when applied topically, coffee has an abundance of skin (and even hair) benefits too?

How to use Coffee Bean Exfoliant Powder
- Body Scrub: For a simple and effective body scrub, mix ½ a cup of Coffee Bean Exfoliant Powder, with 2 tbsp to ¼ cup of carrier oil (such as fractionated coconut oil or almond oil - adjust the amount depending how 'wet' you like the mixture) and 2-3 drops of your favourite Essential Oil (our favourites are Lime, Pink Grapefruit and Mandarin!).
- Optional: You can also add other ingredients such as French clays, fine himalayan salt, vitamin E, castor sugar, brown sugar, honey, cinnamon, shea butter, green tea, and the list goes on! Try experimenting with different combinations to suit your skin and mood!
- Directions: In the shower (or bath), apply to your wet skin and gently scrub in circular motions for a few minutes - you can spend longer on areas that want some extra attention (such as cellulite, scars and stretchmarks). Rinse off completely.
If you keep your body scrub mixture stored completely dry, free from any water or moisture, this will last for around 6-12 months.
